Day 110..Kathmandu2

Temperature today is Baltic less than 20 best put some layers on !

The roads are a disgrace, took over an hour each way for only 8 miles. The main road from the west is practically impassable for large vehicles with potholes 3 or 4 inches deep.

The locals call it “Dustmandu”

Saving grace is they banned the unecessary use of horns 2 years ago, so no Delhi din.

Chandragiri hills today am I going not climb ? No, don’t be silly, cable car.

Lovely Indian company from near Kolkata for the ride.

Yeah, mountains at last.

But what about the biggy ?

Perhaps another day.

Little temple at the top, nice cafe too.

Dusk and evening stroll around Thamel, what a great vibe.

It has a frontier wild west feeling, there is adventure in the air. Souvenir shops obviously and racksacks full of hiking shops and travel agents.

There is always one going the wrong way ! Jam so bad pedestrians couldn’t get between the vehicles !
