Day 23..Athens to Chios.

Found another meeting a short walk from the Archeological museum. Own rooms up on the 6th floor. Enjoyed, was fun and informative, had coffee with the guys after.

Then some more Ancient ruins !

The Acropolis Museum is very impressive, modem building exhibiting in style with a fab glass gallery to view the Parthanon and city. Only 5 euro entry, would be £40 in rip off Britain !

I loved Athens, vibrant city without that sinister undercurrent hard to describe but the doors will open again for me on the great Greek capital.

So pick up baggy then 30 mins on the subway to their port Pireas for the 8 hour trip to Xios. Not too much sleep as expected.
