Day 20..Belgrade.

Kalemegdanska terasa a fortress is the main attraction here it’s massive and sits in a park overlooking the Sava and Danube.

It’s free entry and concequently a bit tatty, could spend a while here exploring.

Didn’t see much else as I took extra time to relax and plan my next moves. Among what seems miles of pedestrian shopping streets is Republic square the main hub, again bit drab and run down.

The people here seem grey and dour too, gone is the bright euro look. Found another meeting it was in Serbian so stayed just a short while. Chatted with Zoltan my taxi driver in the rush hour jams. Apparently Belgrade is the new party city of Europe. Coffee and an early night for me then.
